Carl "Bob" Williams, 77, Seymour, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Seymour Crossing.Mr. Williams was a member of Seymour First Church of the Nazarene. As a young man, he farmed. He retired from NL Industries in 1979, from BF Goodrich in 1990 and from NTN Driveshaft in Columbus in 1996. He had also worked for the Indiana Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Indiana Sheriffs' Association and AARP.Born March 26, 1934, in Tennessee, he was the son of Roger and Lovis Mayhall Williams. On March 20, 1961, in Marion County, he married Tambra "Tammy" Lewis, who preceded him in death on Aug. 23, 2007.Survivors include his nephews, David Brock, Mark Cress and Barney Burton; nieces, Michelle Emerson, Carol Hinton, Ann Cubel, Lisa Hillard, Sherri Manco, Rene Koonz, Lydia Burton, Misty Burton, Shai Burton and Roxanne Burton; and friends, Robert Rankin and Denny and Ralph Bolton.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two sisters.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel, Seymour.Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to Seymour First Church of the Nazarene.All arrangements have been entrusted to Voss Funeral Service and Tri-County Crematory, Seymour.www.vossfuneralservice.com
