FLOYDS KNOBS ANDERSON, CARA LYNN 71, of Floyds Knobs, died Friday, July 8, 2005, at her home. She was a 1952 graduate of New Albany High School and an active member of Depauw Memorial United Methodist Church and an Eastern Star. She was a Floyd Memorial Hospital volunteer and an American Air Filter retiree. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margie Stauth Rhoads and Oscar Rhoads. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Carl Anderson; three children, Becky Schecodnic (Gary) of Stuart, FL, Tim Anderson (Dianna) of Mt. Sterling, KY, and Stacey Freibert (Jeff) of Floyds Knobs; a sister, Jerianne Rhoads of Clarksville, IN; and nine grandchildren, Karissa Richards, Jonathan McKinney, Ali Garret, Mikala and Bella Schecodnic, Elizabeth and Timothy Anderson and Ansel and Ruben Freibert. Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Depauw Memorial United Methodist Church, with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from noon-8 p.m. Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, IN. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Southern Indiana, 624 E. Market St., New Albany, or Depauw Memorial United Methodist Church, 925 Vincennes St., New Albany.
