White, Calvin RoyFeb. 22, 1930 - Aug. 30, 2007Calvin Roy White, 77, Brentwood, Tenn., formerly of Sarasota and Dayton, Ohio, died Aug. 30, 2007, at home.Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg, Ohio. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillgrove Cemetery in Miamisburg. Calvin was born in Dayton on Feb. 22, 1930, to the late Wilburn and Nina (Sours) White. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepmother, Vivian White, and his brother, Nolan White. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Evadean (Lewis) White of Brentwood; his children, John (Jana) White of Centerville, Ohio, Rebecca (James) Owens of Clarkston, Mich., Crista (Tim) Harwood of Brentwood, R. Scott (Betsy) Atkins of Miamisburg and Charles (Regina) Atkins of Stow, Ohio; a brother, Wendell White of Miamisburg; sisters Mae Fox of Carlisle, Ohio, and Willa Fink of Newark, Ohio; and 11 grandchildren.Calvin was a veteran of the Air Force and had retired as director of materials management from the Hydramatic Division of GM after 40 years of service.
