HARE, CHARLES FERMAN, originally from Washington County, NC, went to be with God at age 85 on September 13, 2006. Born January 2, 1921. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty and son Charles. Survivors are: twin sons, Don (Susan) of Orlando and Ron (Debbie) of MD and daughter-in-law, Phyllis (Charles) of GA. Sisters: Adel White, Delia Bess, both in FL. He has nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 11 great, great grandchildren. We all loved him very much. He served his country in WWII, participating in D day, and then served in Korea, before retiring from the U.S. Air Force. After returning to Orlando he worked for the Orange County School Board until his retirement. He was an honorable man and will be missed.
