JOHNSON, Cathryn Kelly, of Prat-tville, AL, formerly of Dothan, died Friday, April 25, 2003 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, She was 77.Funeral services will be held Mon-day, April 28, 2003, at 2PM in Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the fu-neral home from 4 until 6 p.m. Sun-day. At other times they will be at the residence of Pete Kelly, 584 Blackman Road, Dothan, AL.Mrs. Johnson was born September 28, 1925, in Houston County and re-sided in Dothan most of her life. She was employed at Fort Rucker as a telephone operator for thirty-three years prior to her retirement in 1991. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Selma Baptist Church in Dothan. Mrs. Johnson had resided in Prat-tville for the past four years and at the time of her death she was a member of Prattmont Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Andy Cotton, Prattville; a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Melody Johnson, Mo-bile; a brother, Thomas Kelly, Smith, AL. and a sister-in-law, Vera M' Kelly, Dothan. She has five grand-children, Cathy Cotton, Tony and Sheila Cotton, Emily Johnson, Tori Johnson, Carie Johnson; two great grandchildren, Tabatha and Ryan McNutt and Codey Cotton; several nieces and nephews also survive.Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband Ottis John-son and her parents, Eva and Cle-tus Kelly, a sister and brother-in-law, Alma M' and W.D. Halstead; brothers, Pete Kelly, Foy Kelly, and Ray Kelly; a sister-in-law, Doris Kelly.
