Catherine L. Walls Johnson, 93, of Mount Washington, died on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013. She was preceded in death by her grandson, John Michael Walls. She is survived by a daughter, Norma J. (Phil) Clark; three sons, John (Dorlas), David (Donna) and Vernon (Joyce); a stepson, William (Ruth) Walls; two brothers, John Thomas and Richard Dewayne Elmore; two sisters, Patricia Ann Pike and Theresa JoAnn Harris; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with burial in Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington.
