HYDE PARK, Mass. - Catherine D. Hale, 69, died unexpectedly May 23, 2012, at a local hospital. Kay was born Sept. 28, 1942, in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada, daughter of Reginald and Charlotte (Grady) Phillips. She married the love of her life July 1, 1967, in Boston. Kay was a loving homemaker while her boys were young, then she was a cafeteria worker for the public school system - a job she still held. Kay is survived by her husband, Harold of Hyde Park, Mass.; son, David and wife, Anna, of Braintree, Mass.; son, Brian of Hyde Park, Mass.; brother, Reginald of Mass.; brother, Donald of Prince Edward Island, Canada; many nieces and nephews.
