Obituary of Catherine-Brennan Ryan


Catherine Brennan Ryan of Garnerville, NY died on June 6, 2002 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Catherine was born in Brooklyn on December 24, 1937 to Stephen and Annie Gillespie Lynch. Cathy worked for Haverstraw Transit and also cared for the elderly. She is survived by her husband Dennis; her mother Annie Lynch; sons PJ, Stephen, Thomas and Kevin; daughters Mary and Annie. She is also survived by her sisters Sr. Pat Lynch and Frances Fallon and brothers Fr. Stephen Lynch and James Lynch. Cathy is also survived by eight grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She is also survived by in-laws Thomas McGoldrick, Thomas Fallon, Pat Lynch, John Cusack and Diane Coyne. Cathy was predeceased by her husband Thomas Brennan, son James, father and sisters Margaret McGoldrick and Sr. Alice Lynch. Friends and Family will be received on Saturday from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Higgins Funeral Home, Stony Point, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 10, 2002 at 10:15 am in St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, Garnerville. Burial will follow at Fred Loescher Veterans Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.
