CAROLYN POUNCEY QUALLS SMITH Mrs. Carolyn Pouncey Qualls Smith, age 85, of Enterprise, AL, died Tuesday, January 8, 2002. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2002 at the graveside in the Enterprise City Cemetery with Rev. Perry Green officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2002 at Searcy Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith was born December 25, 1916, a daughter of Alto Rex and Flora Pouncey. She lived most of her life in Enterprise and Troy, AL. She attended Troy State and was a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Jean Qualls Orendorff of Pasadena, CA; a son, William F. Qualls, Jr. of Birmingham, AL; a brother, James Rex Pouncey of Blue Water Bay, FL; four grandchildren, Katherine Qualls Porter, Sam Parks, Ben Parks, Jenny Carlson and five great-grandchildren.
