CAROL JEAN (SLACK) SMITHFEBRUARY 15, 2011Ms. Carol Jean (Slack) Smith, age 48, of Fort Myers, Florida died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 8:50 AM at HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myes, FL. Carol Jean entered this life on October 14, 1962 in Madison, IN, the daughter of Chauncey E. and Clara Bell (Shaw) Slack. Carol received her BA in Interior Design from Indiana State University. She began her career in Interior Design in 1984, working in and around Fort Myers and Naples, FL. Carol will be remembered by her daughter: Candace Smith of Fort Myers, FL; son: Kameron Smith of Fort Myers, FL; father: Chauncey E. Slack of Pleasant, IN; sister: Kathy M. May: brother: Curtis Slack; She was preceded in death by her mother: Clara Bell (Shaw) Slack. Funeral services: Monday, February 21, 2011 at 2:00 pm, at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, IN 47043. Interment in the Pleasant Cemetery, Pleasant, IN.
