Carol Allen Blackburn, age 51, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Jewish Hospital, Shelbyville. She was the daughter of the late James Allen.She is survived by her husband, Thomas S. Blackburn, Shelbyville; mother, Mildred Allen, Shelbyville; one son, Lorenzo Blackburn, Shelbyville; two daughters, Katrina Blackburn and Whitley Blackburn, both of Shelbyville.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Shannon Funeral Home with the Reverend Joseph Humphrey officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
