Carlos was born June 15, 1936, in Cairo, Georgia, to Morhmann and Emma Johnson and has lived in Lakeland for many years. He was retired from U.S. Steel and was a veteran of the United States Marines. He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Adams, Rosalyn Roberts and Yvonne Johnson and brother, Terry Wayne Johnson.
