Funeral services for Bro. Jerry Wade Davis age 65 will be Thursday February 2 2006 at 10:00 A.M. in the Bells Funeral Home Bells Tennessee with burial following in Robertson Cemetery. Bro. Jerry went to be with the Lord Tuesday January 31st at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Bro. Jerry served and loved the Lord for many years. From 1967-2006 he served as pastor of the following churches: Gold Dust Baptist Church Ripley TN; South Side Baptist Church Humboldt TN; First Baptist Church Forsyth Montana; Holly Grove Baptist Church Bells TN; and Mercer Baptist Church Mercer TN. Bro. Jerry touched many lives along the way. He is survived by his loyal wife of 45 years: Lois Eggleston Davis Bells TN; five children: Hollie Watkins and her husband Steve Kellie King and her husband Gary Paul Davis and his wife Jennifer James Davis and Sally Davis; and eight grandchildren: Julie Heather and Tiffanie Jones Keith Blackburn II Autumn Watkins Justin and Josh Davis and Steven Frost; one sister: Nora Nanney; and two brothers: Venis and William Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents: Hollis and Ruby Davis; a brother Larry Davis; and a granddaughter Rachael Davis. Pallbearers will be the deacons of Mercer Baptist Church.
