SMITH, Brian Fredrick Peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2009 at the Ottawa Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Beloved partner of Kathryn Laurie and a good friend to many. Special thanks to the health care professionals at the Ottawa Hospital particularly the staff of 5E and 6W. Kathy expresses gratitude to the Tivoli Florist for their steadfast support of her during Brian's illness. Finally, thanks to Brian's best friend Grant Switzer.
