Brenda Sue Smith, 54, born to Robert and Nadine Smith, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Robert and Nadine Smith; stepfather, Dan Walls; mother-in-law and father-in law, Rosa Taylor and Marion "Smitty" Smith; sisters, Joyce Cox and Barbara Ann Smith; brothers, Terry and Buddy Smith; sister-in-law, Connie Smith; and nephews, Brian Payne, Shawn Smith and John Jordan. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Greg Smith; son, Chris Smith and wife, Molly; three grandsons, Will Smith, David Alec and Caleb Howard; their mom, Angela Howard; brother, Bob Smith (Bobbie) of Pensacola, Fla.; three sisters, JoAnne Barron (Wayne) of Panama City, Fla., Robbie Vaughan (Kenny) of Grand Bay, Ala., and Therese Stansell (Eddie) of Jackson, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Art Cox; sisters-in-law; Jimmie Alexander, Gail Smith and Pat Johnson; and aunts, Lucy Walker, Ann Smith and Betty Green. A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, in the Wilson Funeral Home chapel with Daphne Barron officiating.
