Brenda Smith 1949-2014 It is with sadness that we must announce the passing of Brenda Smith, age 64, of Malden, NB, formerly of Hammonds Plains, NS. Brenda passed away peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, May 26, 2014. Born in Halifax, NS, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Edna (Webber) Smith. Brenda loved animals, especially her beloved cat Midnight, who always stayed close to her.She is survived by two daughters, Julie Lepage, Edmonton, AB and Jennifer Gaddes, Calgary, AB; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers Barry (Ruth) and Brian (Linda), both of Hammonds Plains, NS. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin, NB. In keeping with Brenda's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
