Mrs. Brenda Smith Scott - SAVANNAH - Mrs. Brenda Smith Scott, 58, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 23, 2011 at her resident. She was a native of Savannah, GA and a graduate of Robert W. Groves High School. She earned a Master of Cosmetology Diploma from Myer's Beauty School and was a member of Beauty Culture League. She was the owner of Brenda's Salon. She also worked for numerous salons in the Savannah area, such as William's Beauty Salon, Remi Beauty Salon, Kings and Queens, and Horstt and Company formally Joel and Company. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she sung in the New Spirit and Combine Choir. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Joseph and Marie Smith, a brother Barry Smith and a sister, Connie Smith. Survivors: daughter, Nicole Holcey-Smith; four sisters, Gloria (McLeonard) Baul, Joeann (Herman) Hamilton, Francene Brown, and Maria (Kevin Sr.) King; four brothers, Rev. Joseph (Judy) Smith Jr., Rev. Ronald (Georgia) Smith, Willie (Priscilla) Smith, and Frank Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sidney A.
