Ms. Brenda Pittman Smith, age 73, of Oakwood passed away Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at her residence following a sudden illness.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Aug. 26, 2014, from the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. The Rev. Sam Parson and the Rev. Gary Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.Ms. Smith was born Aug. 29, 1940, to the late Albert and Mildred Pittman of Chicopee.
