-> Brenda Marshall Cooks, was born on September 21, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA. She was the eldest child of the Late Mrs. Ludella Bellinger Marshall and Mr. Frederick Marshall. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frederick Marshall and Arthur Bellinger. Brenda attended the public schools of Chatham County and was a 1959 graduate of Alfred Eli Beach High School. She was a Chatham County Employee for many years and a member of St. Paul Christian Methodist Episcopal Church (1601 Barnard) Street). Survivors: daughters, Sonja A. Goldwire, Gaye Gilliard, April Cooks; sons, Eric Gilliard, James Earl Gilliard, foster son, Larry Foster; brother, Thomas Marshall; nine grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends Visitation: 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2004 at St. Paul CME Church (1601 Barnard Street.) Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday January 24, 2004 at St. Paul CME Church (160 1 Barnard Street), Rev. Henry Delaney, Pastor. Interment: St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Oliver, GA Immediately after the service.
