Brenda Lynn Smith, 59, of Bonifay, died Feb. 26, 2010 at her home. She was born Dec. 9, 1950 in Grand Rapids, MI. She is preceded in death by her father, Buster Keeton and mother, Virginia Williams. She is survived by her three grandchildren;; former husband and best friend, Jerry Smith of Westville; daughter, Dana Parker and husband, Matthew of Bonifay; best friend, Sam Papastathis of Atlanta, GA; brother, Jimmy Keeton of TX; brother and sister-in-laws, Angus and Dollie Gillis of Westville, Bud and Cindy Smith of Atlanta, GA, James and Pat Smith of Westville, Allen and Linda Smith of Westville, Kenny and Sharon Smith of Westville; several nieces and nephews and her step-father, Bee Williams. Funeral services were held, March 5, 2010 at Evergreen Baptist Church with the Rev. Mitch Holsonback officiating. Interment followed in the Camp Ground Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay directing.
