JOHNSON, BRENDA JEANBrenda Jean Johnson, age 63 of Bridgeport entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 29, 2013 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in this city Brenda was a life-long resident. She received an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Norwalk Community College and was employed in the payroll dept. of Modern Plastics and Glass for forty years. Her spiritual needs were met as a disciple of Mt. Aery Baptist Church where she participated in the Sr. Usher Ministry; she was also a member of the N.C.N.W. of greater Bridgeport. Her parents Oscar and Christine Johnson Moore as well as a brother, Ronald Johnson predeceased her. Survivors include a daughter, Ronette Jordan of VA; three brothers, Elder Edward and Derrick Moore of Bridgeport and Michael Moore of Stratford; a sister, Terry Moore of Bridgeport; two grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 8, 2013, 11:00 AM at Morton's Mortuary, Inc., 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport with Rev. Anthony L. Bennett, D. Min, officiating. Interment will follow the service at Park Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends are invited to the viewing Monday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home. See www.mortonsmortuary.com
