ANDERSON WEISS-LEE BRENDA JEAN, 50 years young, passed away at home on Sunday, September 7, 2003, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace after a long and courageous fight with breast cancer. Brenda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend to all that knew her. She is survived by her husband, Gary, children Andrew, Jennifer, Michael, and Gary Jr., and beautiful granddaughter Elizabeth. She is also survived by her brother Jon Anderson (Sue) from Arizona, and sister Bette Petersen (Gene) from California. Brenda graduated from Coral Park Sr. High, class of 1971. She worked within the Dade County Public School system for over 10 years. Brenda touched many lives with her kind and caring ways, always ready with words of hope and encouragement, or a gentle touch that would soothe any hurt. Her consideration for others was unsurpassed. We were blessed to have her in our lives and will cherish every moment she was ours. Mom, you were, and will always be, my best friend and my hero.
