Brenda Gail Edwards, 53, of Russellville, Ala., died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005, at her residence.She was a native of Franklin County and attended the Baptist church.The funeral will be Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Russell-ville, with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1-2 p.m. Officiating at the funeral will be Brother Carl Gaston and Brother Edward Louallen. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russell-ville.She is survived by her brothers, Joe Edwards and wife, Donna, Tuscumbia, Ala., Terry Edwards and wife, Pat, Russellville, Ala., Danny Edwards and wife, Sidonia, Russellville, Ala., Darryl Edwards, Russellville, Ala.; sisters, Helen Blankenship and husband, Tommy, Town Creek, Ala., Shelia Waldrop and husband, Gary, Russellville, Ala.; five nephews; four nieces; five great-nephews; and one great-niece.Pallbearers will be Greg Blankenship, Chris Edwards, Andrew Edwards, Blake Frederick, Kenny White and Joe Edwards.She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Betty Edwards.Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
