-> Eden - Brenda Faye Wilkes Davis, 44, died Saturday morning, December 4, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Mrs. Davis was born in Savannah and was a lifelong member of Trinity Church of God, where she was the activities coordinator for the "Primetimers". Mrs. Davis was a 1978 graduate of Tompkins High School. She was a mother and a homemaker and a former employee of South Effingham High School. Surviving are her husband, Jeffrey E. Avis of Eden; two sons, Gary Stanford of Eden and Jeffrey E. Davis, III of Eubank, KY; two daughters, Natasha Davis of Eubank, KY and Marie Moseley of Eden; her parents, Chester Wilkes and Stella Layne Wilkes of Garden City; two sisters, Rita W. Bell of Bloomingdale and Patty Garland of Savannah; a brother, Ernie Ashcraft of Garden City and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 until 7 at Massey-Framke Funeral Care in Garden City. Fune ral service will be held Monday morning at 11:00 o'clock at the Trinity Church of God with the Reverend Bill Stuckey and the Reverend Wayne Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Ash Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Pembroke.
