Lavonia - Brenda Diane Smith, 59, of Lavonia, died Friday, April 24, 2009. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2009, at New Light Baptist Church in Lavonia. Interment will be in the Franklin Memorial Garden North in Lavonia. Survivors include husband Joe H. Smith of Lavonia; sons Timothy Smith and Russell Norman, both of Lavonia; brother Willie Williams of Covington; sisters Cynthia Williams of Lavonia and Shirley Dooley of Toccoa and a host of other relatives and friends. Mack's Funeral Home in Hartwell has charge of arrangements.
