Brenda DeLoach Mitchell - CLAXTON - Brenda DeLoach Mitchell, 55, passed away May 4, 2010, from cancer after 44 years with juvenile Diabetes. She was a nurse in Evans County for 15 years. Working for Marcelo Santiago, M.D., Raymundo Teheng, M.D., Evans Memorial Hospital and Liberty Manor Personal Care Home, Mrs. Mitchell also taught Lamaze natural childbirth classes for 10 years. At the time of her death, she helped her husband at ACE Hardware and Rental in Claxton. Her greatest joy was to be present at the miracle of the birth of a baby. Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Brandon; father, Floyd J. DeLoach; and brother, Aubrey DeLoach, all of Claxton. Survivors: her husband, Bryan Mitchell of Claxton; Mother, Betty DeLoach; Brother and sister-in-law, Farrell F. and Charlene DeLoach and sister-in-law, Charlotte DeLoach, all of Claxton; her foster children, Jason and Katherine Green of Claxton; grandchildren, Ansley and Nathan Green of Claxton; nieces, Michelle Parker, Rhiannon Deloach, Danielle Rowan and Sidney Mitchell; nephews, Zach Evans, Jonathan Mitchell, Caleb Hodges and Reese Mitchell; and one great-niece, Aubreyanna DeLoach. Visitation: Wednesday, May 5, 5:00 p.m., until, at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home. Funeral: Thursday, May 6, 2:00 p.m., at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home in Claxton. Burial: Bay Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
