Obituary of Brenda Anderson


THORNTON ; Brenda Louise Anderson, 52, of Anderson Hill Road, died Oct. 29, 2007, at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Whitefield on Nov. 29, 1952, she was the daughter of Laurence and Louise [Monahan] Fahey. She grew up in Twin Mountain and graduated from White Mountain Regional High School, class of 1972. She also was a graduate of New Hampshire Vocational- Technical College in Berlin, where she earned an associate's degree. She lived in Twin Mountain for many years and moved to Thornton, on Anderson Hill, in 1997. She worked for 20 years as an executive secretary at the State Police Troop F barracks in Twin Mountain. Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Eric "Bob" Anderson of Thornton; a daughter, Nicole E. Thorne of Thornton; three grandchildren; three brothers, Laurence Fahey, Raymond Fahey and Michael Fahey, all of Twin Mountain; two sisters, Lorraine Monahan and Sharon Savoy, both of Twin Mountain; many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Thornton. The Rev. Leo LeBlanc, pastor of the Holy Trinity Parish, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations to the LRH Charitable Fund, 600 St. Johnsbury Road, Littleton, NH 03561, ATTN: Development and Community Relations. The Mayhew Funeral Home, in Plymouth and Meredith, is in charge of the arrangements.
