EVANS, Ga. - Brandon Walter Stokes, age 10, passed away in the loving arms of his mother, Heather Mosley Stokes, and father, Walter Sherrod Stokes III at the MCG Children's Medical Center on August 4, 2010 at 11:59 AM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Platt's Belair Road Chapel with Pastor David Braswell officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until the time of service. Brandon was born February 20, 2000 in Mobile Alabama. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his twin brother, Blake Wright Stokes, another brother, Walter Sherrod Stokes IV "Chip", and sister, Brittani Nicole Stokes. Brandon was the grandson of Kenny and Penny Mosley, Joyce White and Wayne Stokes. Brandon is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Brandon enjoyed being with his family and possessed a zest for life that brightened the lives of everyone he knew.
