-> Boyd James "B. J." Van Horn, of Richmond Hill, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003. He was born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and was a 1980 graduate of Malvern High School in Malvern, Ohio. Mr. Van Horn lived in the Hinesville and Savannah area most of his adult life. He was a truck driver with Heritage Forest Products in Pooler and was a United States Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Boyd James Van Horn, Sr.; and his brother, Walter Van Horn. Surviving are his wife, Melody McCurdy Van Horn of Richmond Hill; sons, Tyler Van Horn of Richmond Hill, Bryan Van Horn of Stroudsburg, PA, and Eric Van Horn of Effort, PA; mother, Sandy CoCo Rider of Mineral, IL; sisters, Nancy Dailey of Victoria, IL, and Melissa Foster of Neponset, IL; brother, Theodore Van Horn of Victoria, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, May 9 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
