Mrs. Bonnie June Clemmons was born September 22, 1945, to Jacob and Pansy Boyd. She died Dec. 4, 2006, at her home at Tunas, Mo., at the age of 61 years. On August 25, 2000, she married her soul mate, Hosea D. Clemmons. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Lee Boyd; mother-in-law, Margurite Clemmons; and a sister Sue Foudray. She is survived by her husband Hosea D. Clemmons; daughters, Vera Clemmons, of Springfield, Mo., Sarah Ann Sherman, of the home, Sherri Freiner and husband, Steve, of Belton, Stacy Johnson, of Kansas City, Mo., and Elizabeth Clemmons, of Springfield; one brother, John Boyd, of Springfield; three sisters, Daisy Welch, of Peterburg, Tenn., Debbie Bernet, of Springfield, Mo., and Pam Henry and husband, Jim, of Blue Eye, Ark.; 11 grandsons; six granddaughters; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; her beloved cat Tommy J. Clemmons, who always kept watch over her, and Tippy J. Clemmons, her beloved cow. She was a member of the Tunas Christian Church, Tunas Red Hatters, and she read to the children at Skyline School. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, grammee and friend. Her faith in God helped her with her seven year fight with breast cancer. She will be missed by many, yet her love and life go on with the hearts she touched. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Montgomery-Viets Chapel. Burial will be in Ozarks Memorial Park at Branson. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to "National Ovarian Coalition" or "New Hope Cares."
