Bonnie Iris Shely Casey, 92, died Thursday, February 14, 2013. She was born September 16, 1920 in Anderson County to Floyd and Gippy Shely. Bonnie was a member of the Glensboro Christian Church and retired from Kentucky Department of Revenue after 33 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Casey, and her sister, Nannie Stout. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. She is survived by her son, Bobby Eugene Casey (Patti), her daughter, Linda Casey Cook (Bobby); her brothers, William Shely (Lou), Raymond Shely (Alieen), Harry Shely (Cora), and Don Shely (Ruby); her sisters, Thelma McGuire, Mary Helen Welsh (Gene); her grandchildren, Michael Alan Cook, Robert Scott Casey (Beth), Christopher Lee Casey (Chrissy), Amy Cook Crosby (Jay), Alison Cook Ramage (David), Kristen Casey Pearcel (Jared), Brian Harold Casey, and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Gash Memorial Chapel in Lawrenceburg on Sunday from 5-8 PM. Services will be at the Glensboro Christian Church at 12 noon Monday. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers and caring staff of Hosparus. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus in Bonnie Casey's name. Casketbearers will be Michael A. Cook, Brian H. Casey, David S. Ramage, Jeffrey M. Cook, John Welsh, and Bobby D. Welsh. Honorary Bearers will be William Shely, Raymond Shely, Harry Shely, Donald Shely, and Larry Armstrong.
