Blannie-Mae-Harris Jackson, born in 1919, spouse of Ernest-Richard Jackson, mother of Martha Faye and Keith, died on February 11, 2011 at 92 years old.
JACKSON Blannie Mae Harris Jackson, 92, of Gainesville, FL, died peacefully in her home on February 11, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ernest Richard Jackson, in 2001. She lived in Jacksonville until his death and raised her family there. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Fifth Ward in Gainesville. She spent many years working with the youth and women's organizations of her church. She is survived by two children, Martha Faye Kamlah (Al F. Kamlah) and Keith Jackson (Beth Jackson); six grandchildren, Sharyl Kamlah Witt (Steve Witt), Amy Kamlah Neal (J.R. Neal), Jeff Kamlah, Kelly Jackson Cloud (Shawn Cloud), Richard Jackson and Caitlyn Jackson, ten great grandchildren, Christopher, Chelsea and Chandlar Witt, Julia and Austin Neal, Devon, Jeremy and Justin Cloud, Austin and Aiden Jackson. Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3745 N.W. 16th Boulevard, Gainesville, on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 10:30 a.m., with Bishop Don Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 a.m., at the church. Friends and family are welcome to attend the graveside dedication at 3:00 p.m. at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
