COWAN-Blanche Martha September 11, 1922 - December 3, 2007. She was born in a small town outside Pittsburgh, PA., where she was one of 13 children. She moved to Buffalo, N.Y. where she met her husband Leon J. Cowan and they wed July 23, 1949. Together they had five children, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother and wife. She was an extraordinary homemaker and a fabulous cook. She loved to read and spend time with her family. Many will miss her. She is survived by: Her Children: Sandy & (Joseph) Toma, Debra & (George) Casali, Lauren Chandler, Lana Godwin, Leon J. Cowan Jr. & (Sharon Paul). Her Grandchildren: Michelle & (Vance) O'Rourke, Joseph Tripi, Marco & (Joanne) Casali, Carla Rowland and (Lewis Schwartzott), Brian and (Maureen) Casali, Jenna Tabor-Godwin, Trevor Toma. Her Great Grandchildren: Brett Rowland, Madison Tripi, Gianna Casali, Oliver and Adeline Casali. Also by her estranged husband Leon J. Cowan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on December 29, 2007, Saturday morning at 10:30 O'clock in Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd.
