Blanche Marie Bruneau (née Lambert) Peacefully at the St. Claude Hospital, on Friday February 27, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer, Mrs. Blanche Bruneau, passed away at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn her family Roger (Annette), Simone Rey (Léonel), Norbert (Marielle), Denis (Hélène), Roseline Green (Gary) and Georges. She also leaves 20 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Also left to mourn are her sisters Maria Richard (Lambert), Yvonne Richard (Lambert) and husband Cléophas and her sisters-in-law Cécile Lambert, Marie Lemieux, Irène Dacquay, Hélène Goulet, Rose Bruneau and Marie-Louise Bruneau. She was predeceased by her husband Félix in 1998, her son Henri in 1953, also 8 sisters and 3 brothers. Blanche was born March 14, 1915 in St. Boniface. She was married in St. Claude in 1936 and lived on the farm until their retirement in 1974. Her hobbies included dancing, knitting, crochet, listening to old time music and was especially fond of taking care of her flowers. Prayers will be held at Adam's Funeral Home on Monday March 1, 2004 at 8 p.m.. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday March 2, 2004 at 2 p.m. Full obituary to follow. Roger Bazin and Sr. Cécile for their words of encouragement and visits to the hospital.
