WOONSOCKET, R.I. -- Blanche E. (St. Jean) Romeiro, 93, formerly of Lydia Avenue, where she lived for more than 40 years, and Ocala, Fla., where she lived for 21 years, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005. She was the widow of Joseph I. Romeiro Sr. She died at Oakland Grove Health Care Center, where she lived for 13 years. Born in Acushnet, Mass., Nov. 19, 1911, she was the daughter of the late August St. Jean and Ida (Fredette) St. Jean. She was a communicant of St. Agatha's Church and formerly St. Louis Church. She was a sales clerk at Zayre's in Bellingham, Mass., for three years, retiring in 1972, a stitcher at Standard Romper in Central Falls, and a weaver at Manville Jenks, Manville and Lorraine Mills, Pawtucket. Survivors includes a son, Joseph I. Romeiro Jr. and his wife, Joyce, of Holiday, Fla.; two daughters, Blanche E. Peloquin and her husband, Rene of Summerfield, Fla. and Deanna M. Theroux and her husband Edward of North Providence; a sister, Theresa Galipeau-Silva of Portsmouth; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Raymond St. Jean, Lillian Talbot, Jeannette Cote and Aline Reynolds Her funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday from Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 S. Main St. (Route 126), Bellingham. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. in St. Agatha's Church, 34 Joffre Ave. Interment will be at St. James Cemetery, Manville. --- ROMEIRO, Blanche E.
