PHOENIX, Blanche A (née Clément) (1907 - 2008) - Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Villa in Cornwall on Monday, June 30, 2008 in her 101st year. Daughter of the late James Clément and Henriette (Beaudoin) Clément of Embrun. Predeceased by husbands, Rosaire Gauthier of Timmins and Rhéal Phoenix of Cornwall. Mrs. Phoenix is survived by one sister-in-law, Mrs. Thelma Gauthier of Kingston, one nephew, Mr. Fernand Poupart of Timmins and numerous loving grand-nephews and grand-nieces in Canada and the U.S.A. Before moving to Cornwall in 1979, Mrs. Phoenix lived and worked in Val Gagné and Timmins for many years. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-932-2841) from 2 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Friday, July 4, 2008 for Mass of Christian Burial in Nativity Co-Cathedral at 10 a.m. followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral on Friday. Madame Phoenix habita et travailla de longues années à Val Gagné et Timmins avant de déménager à Cornwall en 1979. Elle reposera au Salon funéraire Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall, Succursale Est, 614 premiere rue est, Cornwall (613-933-2841) à compter de 14h jeudi. Funérailles: vendredi, le 4 juillet 2008 à 10 heures en la Co-Cathédrale de la Nativité. Incinération. La famille recevra les condoléances de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h jeudi et de 9h à l’heure des funérailles vendredi matin.
