BISSONNETTE-SEGUIN, Blanche (nee Gagnier) It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Blanche Bissonnette Seguin, on Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Born on November 13, 1918 to Alfred Telesphore and Rose Alma Gagnier in Stoney Point. Beloved wife of Raymond Bissonnette (1987) and Lawrence Seguin (1994). Dearest mother of Robert and Donna, Joan and Dave Cunningham, Trudy (2011) and Bob Lickfold (1977), Jean Paul (2004), Bernard and Bonnie, Julie and Martin Mirander, Gene and Rita and Michelle and Dave Wall. Cherished Mémé of 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Survived by one sister, Nadia Lebert and husband Aurele, sisters in-law Aurore Gagnier and Alphonse, Betty Gagnier and Alfred, Lucille Gagnier and husband George. Predeceased by Aldea and Elmo Laporte, Alphonse, Alfred, Lauda and Eddy St. Pierre, Sister Elodia, Lucien and George. Predeceased by in-laws Rudolph and Berta Bissonnette, Lawrence and Bernadette Bissonnette, Amelia and Bill Quinn, Dorilda and Edward (Pete) Mailloux, Grace and Raymond Forbes. Blanche was a member of St. John's Parish in Woodslee for most of her years and a lifetime member of the Catholic Women's League. Special thank you to the loving and caring staff at Franklin Gardens Nursing Home, Leamington. Visitation will take place at the Melady Funeral Home,572 Notre Dame Street, 519-728-1500on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Friends are asked to gather at St. John the Evangelist Church, 1688 County Road 46 on Saturday, July 27, 2013 for Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.
