SMITH, Billie Johns, 84, of Lakeland, died Thursday, September 15, 2005, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. A native of Wauchula, she had lived in this area most of her life, having moved to Lakeland last year. She was a member of the Avon Park Lakes Baptist Mission and was a homemaker. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Bailey of Lakeland and Sherry Parrish of Raton, N.M.; two brothers, Edward and George S. Johns, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren, Craig Bailey and Kara Bailey and great-grandchild, Carter Bailey. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 17, 2005, at 3 p.m. at Fountain Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Willett officiating. Visitation will be the hour prior to service.
