Obituary of Beverly-Nalle Rogers


ROGERS Beverly Nalle Rogers died November l l, 2003. Born March 5, l920 , the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Ion Beverly Nalle, she lived all her life in Jacksonville. Educated in the public schools and at Bartram, she attended Gunston Hall in Washington, D.C. She was a member of the 194l-42 Debutante Coterie. She married Charles W. Rogers of Lawrence, Kansas on April 8, 1942. Mrs. Rogers was active in civic and social organizations. She was a member of the beloved Wednesday Club, Junior League of Jacksonville, served on the Board and was currently a Sustaining Member of the League. She was a member of the Florida Colonial Dames of Florida. She was a life-time communicant of St. Marks Episcopal Church. Mrs. Rogers was a noted Horsewoman showing both Hunters and 3 and 5 gaited horses in shows from Miami to Norfolk, Virginia. Mrs. Rogers is survived by her children Linda Rogers Paschal (Bo) and Charles W. Rogers, Jr. (Carol), and three grandchildren; Ashley Rogers Whitley, Adrienne Elizabeth Rogers, Leigh Rogers Trigg (Tom) ; one great-grandchild, Nicholas W. Trigg. Graveside services will be held 2:30 P.M. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery (Gate 5). In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Marks Episcopal Church or All Saints Nursing Home.
