Beverly J. Dobbs, 86, of St. Augustine, passed away on April 11, 2010, at Flagler Hospital. Beverly was born in Mound City, S.D., and had resided in St. Augustine since 1951. Beverly was co-owner of Dobbs Brothers Library Binding Company for many years before her retirement in 1980. A funeral Mass will be held 9 a.m. Friday, April 16, 2010, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with the Rev. William C. Mooney officiating. Interment will follow in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Beverly was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, where she had served as a member of the Altar Guild for many years. Beverly was also a member of the Republican Club of St. Augustine and the Right to Life Association. Beverly is survived by her son, David Dobbs, and his wife, Peggy, of St. Augustine, as well as her grandchildren, Reid Bartlam, Jennifer Alaimo, Lindsay Lavercombe and Davis Dobbs. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Maureen Holden, her husband, Denny, and their three children and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Dobbs, and daughter Mary Bartlam.
