Obituary of Beverly-G. Harris


Beverly G. Harris, 59, of Winchester passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Reid Hospital, Richmond. She was born November 15, 1952 in Garrett. She was a 1971 graduate of Union City Community High School and worked for Kabert Industries in Lynn. Beverly enjoyed sewing and cooking. Her love and passion was for her family.Survivors include her husband of 37 years, David E. Harris of Winchester; her mother and stepfather Jerry (Stewart) Bill Harmon of Greenville, Ohio; two sons, David C. (Nan) Harris of Winchester and Steven (Diane) Harris of Winter Haven, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Keslyn, Corbin, Nolan, Kelsey, Kim, Zach and Benjamin; four sisters, Debbie (Mike) Ross of Fairfield, Ohio, Delores (Hap) Hazard of Richmond, Ginny (Roy) Hale of Cincinnati, Ohio and Angie (Tom) Price of Winchester; and several nieces, nephews and extended friends and family members.She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Delsie Mae Stewart; and by in-laws Everett and Ruth Harris.Funeral services are 5 p.m. Sunday at Walker Funeral Home, Winchester. Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.walkerswinchester.com.
