Mrs. Betty Wright Jones SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Betty "B.J." Wright Jones, 63, peacefully entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Betty was born on April 18, 1949, in Spartanburg County; she was the daughter of Mrs. Ada Maxwell Wright and the late Eugene "Red" Wright. Betty was a devoted and faithful member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Betty was a 1968 graduate of the former Carver High School. Mrs. Jones was a well-known Licensed Cosmetologist for more than four decades. Mrs. Jones is survived by her cherished family: her children, Marek (Sherry) Jones of Greenville, SC, Wilshawn Jones and Brandy (Douglas) Mack of Spartanburg, SC; her mother, Mrs. Ada M. Wright of Spartanburg, SC; her sister, Shirley Wright of Spartanburg, SC; her brothers, Wayne Wright and Keith Wright of Spartanburg, SC; her grandchildren, Ashley, Shawnell, Demarea, Marcel, Noel and Sierra; her great-grandson, Shayne; and other dear relatives. The family will receive family and friends at the home of her sister, 126 Applewood Lane, Spartanburg, SC 29307 after 3:00 p.m. A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for the Life of Betty Wright Jones will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013, 12:00 noon at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 700 South Converse Street, Spartanburg, SC. Mrs. Jones will lie in state at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Bishop Charles J.J. Jackson, III will officiate. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Gardens. J. W.
