Moore, Betty W., 79 of Plantation passed away peacefully on Feb. 9, 2006. Predeceased by her husband Ted Moore. Survived by her children Susan Pluta of Oakland Park, Patrick Moore of Pawley's Island, SC, & Ted Moore of Sebastian, FL; grandchildren Jesse Moore of Murphy, NC, Patrick Moore of Plantation, Shannon Moore of Davie; great-grandchildren Clarity & Ariel Moore of Murphy, NC, Kaylie Moore of Plantation; also loved by John Pluta and Kathy Moore. She served in the US Army from 1943-1946. She married her childhood sweetheart, and then moved to Ft. Lauderdale from Syracuse in 1953. She and her husband were proprietors of Economy Lawn and Garden in Plantation for 12 years. In her memory the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
