Retired Probate Court Judge GIBSON, Ga. - Mrs. Betty Usry Miller, 73, loving wife of the late Mr. Ercell B. Miller, entered into rest Sunday, September 23, 2007 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Magnolia Baptist Church with Rev. Adrian Burrell officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. A native of Glascock Co., Ga., Mrs. Betty was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church and she was the Judge of the Glascock Co. Probate Court for 38 years. Always cheerful, she was loved by all who knew her and will be missed. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie M. Thompson and her husband Robbie of Stone Mountain and Donna M. Bright of Sparta, Tenn.; two sisters, Irma (Polly) McCorkle and her husband Rudy of Gibson and Edith Vines of Camilla; one brother, Joe Dean Usry and his wife Joann of Gibson; a special friend of the family, Sue Latimer of Mitchell; three grandchildren, Rachelle Holly Robinson, Leslie Thompson See, and Tiffany Marie Bright; four great-grandchildren, Robert Shayne Robinson, Michael Anthony Robinson, Hunter Zander Fallow, and Rainy Jocelyn Fallow. She was preceded in death by a son, Kieth Shayne Miller; a brother, Bobby Usry; a grandson, Charles Jimmy Holley, Jr.; and her parents, Luke and Florine Usry. Pallbearers are Shayne Robinson, Michael Robinson, Logan Williford, Jody Usry, Jim Hall, Andrew See, and Mike Chance. The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
