VERNON | Betty Sue Smith, age 67, of Vernon, died October 26, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Oakes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Chandler Funeral Home of Vernon directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
