Betty Sue Carter, 76, of Wewahitchka, FL, went home to be with her Lord on February 19, 2014 with her family by her side. She loved to cook, and to go fishing. Betty was a servant, first, to her Lord, and second to people. She is survived by her husband, Wilfred Carter; son, Fred Carter; two grandsons, Charlie Walker & wife Tammy and Chris Walker & wife Melissa; two granddaughters, Susan Azevedo & husband Rich and Sherry Jenkins; and eight grandchildren, Shawn, Kaylin, Ashlyn, Logan, Cayla, Keirsten, and Brooke.Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Ora Harrelson, and sister, Marie Johnson.Serving as pallbearers are Pastor Larry Sims, Pastor Chris Black, Pastor Terry Hinote, Rev. Alton Golden, Pastor Steve Connell, and Evangelist Jimmy Griggs.A visitation will be begin at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Hiland Park United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ron Baker, Pastor Aaron Elkins and Rev. Rodney Capps officiating.
