->Smith, Betty (Shaw)Greece: June 15, 2011 age 87. Predeceased by her parents Irene and George Shaw, husband Robert; sisters, Ruth Roy, Doris Shaw & brother Thomas Shaw. Survived by her 2 sons Robert and Randy (Julie), grandchildren Nicole and Shane, brothers Jack & Bill, many nieces and nephews including her special nephew Tom Shaw and special friends Jean Dean, Jeanetta Dunlap and Tina Turachak Betty was a WAC in WWII, stationed in Pearl Harbor. She was on the Air Force fast pitch softball team, played for Kodak and for Greece leagues till she was 64 years old. She worked at Kodak, Rochester Products and was a Greece school bus driver for over 25 years. Her interests included stained glass, painting, writing, meditating and was an avid golfer. 
Friends may call Monday 4-6:30 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Memorial Service will follow calling Monday 6:30 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong in her memory.
