SMITH, Betty Eileen (nee Price). Passed away on May 22, 2002 at the Lakeshore General Hospital after a brave battle with Leukemia. Cherished wife and best friend of the late Charles Gilbert Smith. Beloved aunt of Jack Vauthier (claire), Tom Smith (Louise), Pat McKay (Tim) and Dave Smith (Jackie). Loving Godmother to Joan Switzer. Auntie Betty will be lovingly remembered by many great-nieces and nephews. She will also be lovingly remembered by very special friends Kay Kelly, Vi Coffin, Ida Jarvis (Bob) and Michelle Laurin (Jimmy). Special thanks to Dr. Laryea, Micheline and Tracy of the Oncology Department and the Staff of Two South for their loving care. Charlie and Betty together forever with God. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2002 at Collins Funeral Home, 222 Highway 20 (Cartier Exit #49) in Pointe Claire, Quebec. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment at Memorial Gardens in Ville St. Laurent to follow service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the SPCA or to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
