BALLARD Betty Rose, 79, wife of Robert Ballard, Sr., passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014. She was born May 12, 1935 in Lexington to the late Warren Vanetta and Myrtle Estelle Rose Saunders. Mrs. Ballard attended Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Carole Lynn Ballard and Teresa Lee (Larry) Green; a son, Robert Blanding (Jane) Ballard, Jr.; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brother, Charles Allan (Shirley) Saunders; sister, Linda Sue (Tom) Stevens and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:30pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Road. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30pm until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
