Betty R. Rogers, 80, Sarasota, died Aug. 19, 2003. She was born Jan. 1, 1923, in Mattoon, Ill., and came to Sarasota in 1973 from Adrian, Mich. She retired as a beautician and retail clerk. She was a Methodist. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Eugene; a son, Bill Brame of Sarasota; a brother, Thomas Bridges of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238. National Cremation Society, Sarasota chapter, is in charge.
